Greetings Chess Players. My name is Chris Torres and this is my daily chess musing for Monday,  March 1, 2021.

Anyone who has followed this channel for a while has seen how FIDE Master James Eade has contributed so much to the success of many of our players and to the Daily Chess Musing community as a whole.

Now wouldn’t it be nice to give back to the Eade Foundation as a thank you for all the time, talent and money he has donated for our benefit? Well great news! It’s never been easier. Today, Jim Eade announced that The Eade Foundation has partnered with DollarStore to receive a share of the money FBDS.DollarStore.com makes from chess players buying their products. We all know The DollarStore as a place to buy quality products at inexpensive prices. But did you know that you can shop on DollarStore.com and have your DollarStore orders arrive at your door? Plus, now when you use the discount code “chess” your purchase will help The Eade Foundation promote chess literacy and chess excellence globally.

Jim likes to say, and I paraphrase: “It doesn’t matter what language you speak or what country you are from. If you play chess, you are part of a community and are never alone.” Let me add that helping your community is a wonderful opportunity for individual growth. So, today I am calling on the Daily Chess Musings community to change their shopping habits just a little bit so that we can support the greater chess community through the Eade Foundation.
