Brilliancy Prize for the 2022 K-5 CalChess Super State Championship

Greetings Northern California chess players. My name is Chris Torres and I am excited to tell you about the Brilliancy Prizes for the K-5 CalChess Super State Championship. This year, in collaboration with The Eade Foundation, we will be awarding a couple of signed copies of the top selling chess book “Chess for Dummies” by FM James Eade as a brilliancy prize to the best chess games we see at the 2022 CalChess Super State Championship. To be eligible for this exciting prize, players need to come to the registration table and show their games to the CalChess Scholastic Coordinator (that’s me.) As an added bonus, all children who participate will have their games analyzed and possibly included in the next issue of the CalChess Journal, Northern California official chess magazine.

So make sure your child remembers to notate their games and I will see you this weekend in Santa Clara, California for the 2022 K-5 CalChess Super State Championship.
