The Resolution

January 1, 2021

Greetings Chess Players. My name is Chris Torres and this is my daily chess musing for January first, 2021.

Another year is here and I want to make it an extraordinary good one for the Daily Chess Musings community. I started Daily Chess Musings based under the belief that if you want to gain the most benefit from chess, you need to work at it daily. So for 2021, my New Year’s Resolution will be uploading a short video every day to educate, entertain and inspire our global community of chess players. During the coming year in chess as in life, there will be darker days and brighter days. To help you keep positive and engaged, I will be posting interesting content every day. To help me out, please reach out to me on the Daily Chess Musings Facebook page, on Twitter @torreschess, through our Daily Chess Musings Club on chess.com, sending an email to DailyChessMusings@gmail.com, commenting on a blogpost at DailyChessMusings.com or simply by commenting on my YouTube videos. I will do my best to answer your questions in a timely manner and who knows, maybe your question will be featured in a future Daily Chess Musing. And seriously, if I am going to complete my New Year’s Resolution of posting a fresh video everyday, I will need your questions and topics ideas. So don’t be a stranger and send my your thoughts.
