For over 20 years, my summer chess camps have paved the way for the success of thousands of children regardless of their entry skill level. In one week of training with me your child will gain:

The three Daily Chess Musings Free Online Summer Chess Camps will be held during the weeks of June 13-17, July 11-15, and August 8-12. During each camp, we will spend SIX HOURS on chess activities per day from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm Pacific Daylight Time. Children who participate will receive instruction from:

FM James Eade
is the Chairman & CEO of the Eade Foundation, chess master, chess administrator, chess tournament organizer, and chess book publisher. He holds the title of FIDE Master. FM Kevin Pan
International Chess Federation (FIDE) Master Kevin Pan is a top 10 ranked 16-year-old in the US. 2018 National Elementary Champion and top 10 finish in 2019/2021 National Scholastic Championships. Captain of school team to represent US in World School Team Tournament as part of Dubai World Expo 2020. 10-time California state champion. Member of US Chess All American Team in 2015 and qualified to represent USA in World Youth Championship many times. Captain and led his school chess team to national team champion in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018! FM Eric Li
International Chess Federation (FIDE) Master Eric Yuhan Li has been on the US Chess Federation All-America Chess Team, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, & 2022. Led the team and won 3rd place of 2019 US Amateur Team Championship-West. North American Youth Chess Championship, Silver Medalist, 2018. Pan American Youth Chess Championships, Gold Medalist, 2017. Pan American Youth Chess Blitz Championships, Silver Medalist, 2017. California and NJ Grade Champion, 2017, 2015. First place in the 51st Greater NY Scholastic Primary Championship sponsored by the Kasparov Chess Foundation, 2017. Qualified to represent USA in World Youth Championship many times. Achieved NM title at 10 and FM title at 12. FIDE peak rating over 2400 with one IM norm. Chess coach and volunteer for after-school program since 2021. GM Mackenzie Molner
is an American chess grandmaster and chess instructor. Chess coach Michael Khodarkovsky helped Molner develop his competitive chess play. Molner won the Denker Tournament of High School Champions as a sophomore in 2004. Francisco Anchondo

Francisco regularly competes in chess tournaments in several western states as well as in Mexico. Francisco Anchondo is feared for his tactical bravado at the chess board while loved for his generosity in providing chess lessons to economically disadvantaged children and schools. Chris Torres served as the President of the Torres Chess and Music Academy from 2005-2020 and currently is recognized as a correspondence chess master with the United States Chess Federation. Since 1998 Chris Torres has taught 6 individual national champions as well as lead multiple school teams to win national championship titles. In addition, Chris Torres has directed and taught at 10 different schools which have been California State Champions at chess. In 2011 and 2012, several former and current students of Chris Torres have been selected to represent the United States at the World Youth Chess Championships.
