Free Online Winter Chess Camp December 30, 2024

Thank you for joining us today. Please remember to click on the link for “JOIN TOURNAMENT” in your group assignments every day to join the tournaments. If you do not join them in advance then you cannot play. Be sure to pay attention after you finish your first game because the next round begins right after everyone has completed the first round.

If you missed the round or had any other issues I am running another tournament. It will begin @ 2:30 Pacific Time

ONLY the live sessions and the tournaments are necessary to do at a specific time! Any of the prerecorded lessons or chess problems can be done at any time. Even the live lessons will be recorded and can be viewed later if needed, but they are more fun when you can interact in the chat as well.

Please begin working on the video assignments after the morning message until the tournament round. You can continue them after the tournament until it is time for the live lesson.

All the chess problems listed are extra. You do not have to do all the problems in one day, or even do them at all. They are meant to fill in time if you happen to finish an assignment and are waiting for the next event to begin.

CHANGE IN PLANS!! MY INTERNET IS DOWN AND I AM UPDATING FROM MY PHONE APP, BUT I CANNOT DO THE LIVE LESSON FROM IT. PLEASE DO YOUR SCHEDULED ASSIGNMENTS FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW. I WILL DO BOTH PARTS OF MY PLANNED LESSON TOMORROW INSTEAD. THE FIRST PART WILL BE AT 10 AM AND THE SECOND PART WILL BE AT 1 PM.
