The SPFNO, which will take place on October 22-23, is one of the most prestigious scholastic chess tournaments in the United States and the only tournament of its kind to award $100,000 in college scholarships. Of course, not every player will win scholarships or fabulous trophies, but every child in attendance will have numerous opportunities to learn from and interact with GM Susan Polgar during the main tournament as well as all of the fun side events.
